5 Reasons to go See The Minions #Minions @Minions

I loved the Minions when I saw them in Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 and loved the new Minions movie that is now out in theaters. But did you know that they started as single-celled yellow organisms?  Who knew, right!!

Minions movie July 2015

And did you know that over the years they were unsuccessful at keeping their evil masters—from T. rex to Napoleon. But one day, the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression.

But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he—alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob—ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain.  They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind…from annihilation.

 5 Reasons to See Minions:

1.  Kevin, Bob and Stuart

2. The movie is hysterically funny, you will laugh at lot.

3. Listening to the Minions speak in foreign languages. I didn’t know even know they spoke another language.

4.  You get to see what the world is like in 60’s? Doesn’t sound interesting but I like the music and the clothes styles. I think your parents will appreciate it too.

5. Did I mention how funny Kevin, Bob, Stuart are?

Exclusive: Walt Disney Animation Studio’s ZOOTOPIA Trailer #Zootopia

Walt Disney Animation Studio’s ZOOTOPIA doesn’t open until next year but I had to share the newest trailer, an ALLIE CAT Reviews exclusive.

ZOOTOPIA – Pictured (L-R): Nick Wilde, Judy Hopps. "It's a nod to the great Disney animated animal films we all grew up with, but with a funny, contemporary twist," said director Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”). "Our artists and animators did tons of research to integrate true animal behaviors into each of our characters. The world of Zootopia is fantastic, infused with international flavor that will be relatable to everyone.” ©2015 Disney. All Rights Reserved.

What’s it About?
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.

The Duff Movie is Hilarious For Older Tweens

The Duff is a movie that I wanted to see when I first saw the ad on television but my mom and I couldn’t seem to get to the theater. So I was thrilled to be able to check out the movie now on Blu-ray and DVD.

Duff Movie ReviewWhat’s The Duff Movie About?

The movie centers around Bianca (Mae Whitman star of The Perks of Being a Wallflower) who learns that her high school refer to her as a “DUFF” (Designated Ugly Fat Friend). Not very nice, right!

She wants to get rid being called a DUFF by getting the school jock (Robbie Amell from TV’s “The Flash”)) and her favorite teacher (Ken Jeong from TV’s “Community”) to help her  and also face the school’s mean girl (Bella Thorne from Blended).

3 Reasons I liked The Duff
1.  It teaches kids that in high school you shouldn’t care what other people think of you and it shouldn’t  affect how you see yourself.
2.  The movie is very funny and you will laugh at lot.
3. My favorite character is Wesley Rush (Robbie Ammell) because he helps Bianca with her look. I have to say that although I like his character he looks too old to be in high school.
I want to warn you that the  movie is definitely inappropriate for younger tweens. There is definitely lots of references to sex and inappropriate situations that happen to high school kids. But if you have seen Pitch Perfect, you and your mom won’t be shocked.

P.S. I liked this movie so much, I am going to ask for it to be downloaded on my iPad.

“The Good Dinosaur” takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

Sounds so interesting, right?

Go See Disney’s Cinderella, I loved it #Cinderella #FrozenFever

My mom and I went to see Disney’s Cinderella and I loved it. It was so beautiful, funny and has a happy ending.  I really liked Cinderella because she always stays so cheery and happy even though she was being bullied. Sometimes, I know that it’s hard when people are being mean but I liked her mom’s cheery statement  “Have courage and be kind.”

If you have younger brothers or sisters, the movie starts off sad because her mom and dad die. And then her Step mother and step sisters are so mean so they may be upset.  Go see the movie, you will like it. And surprise for Frozen fans, there is cute short Frozen Fever that opens before Cinderella

Disney’s Cinderella – The story of “Cinderella” follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new Stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when Ella’s father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family.

New VIDEO- PADDINGTON is in theaters NOW! #Paddington

PADDINGTON is in theaters NOW!

Paddington Movie

From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER), PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who travels to the city in search of a home.

Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you.” and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

I haven’t see the movie yet. It looks really cute. Have you seen the movie yet?

Strange Magic Movie Review #StrangeMagic

Have you heard of Strange Magic movie? I went to a screening last week to see the movie. I had no idea what the movie was about but I went along with mom.

StrangeMagicMarianne Bog King

I loved it and it’s awesome. It’s really funny and beautiful. You will love the story about the Princess fairies and the very ugly Bog King. My favorites were the minions (I call them minions), but they were the Bog Kings little buddies.  I laughed a lot. My mom told me it’s music that I should know but I just liked it.
